JOUR 273 UX/UI Website
In the fall of 2023, I took JOUR 273, an integrated marketing communications creative design course. Using various applications from Adobe Creative Suite, I built this conceptual website called FarmHouse, promoting my fictional restaurant brand (inspired by one of my favorite breakfast spots in Oxford, First Watch). If you follow this link, it will take you to the interactive site. By pressing: 1) the logo on the homescreen, 2) the menu button, 3) the traditional platter, 4) order now, and 5) submit, you can see an example of what it would be like to navigate my business’s “website.”
IMC 390
This advanced writing course exposed me to several elements of PR and creative design methods to convey a message for a distinctive audience. For this assignment, we had to choose a company to make graphics for the promotion of their products. I chose Mom Waters and their new summer flavors, which was really fun to work on!

I also created a detailed publication strategy for social media engagement pertaining to shared media components, as well as an analysis of the brand and its identity. To view the posting schedule document, click here.
This is a project I completed for my JOUR 273 Creative Visual Thinking course. It was based on a theoretical event we proposed for a real company of our choosing, using creative elements to promote it visually on Adobe Illustrator.
In the summer of 2023, I helped a start-up local business at my home on the coast, ‘SIP Paddle Rentals, jumpstart their social media accounts. By creating Canva posters and videos, I made simply designed content for them to post on their platforms to engage a larger audience and customer clientele. I also did a touch of modeling for promotional shoots and still keep in touch with the business to do work. On this page you can view a few examples of my pieces I designed relative to the brand’s color scheme, message, and overall identity. Visit the company website here.
Posters & Graphics
For each post, I assisted the team with creating thoughtful captions and hashtags to reach a broader audience. We utilized different forms of media, including print and digital, to spread brand awareness.
This graphic was created for printed flyers to be used at Mississippi Gulf Coast events surrounding the 4th of July holiday. We hung the posters at the annual Crab Fest and the Gulfport harbor fireworks show.
Video Edits
I primarily used Canva to edit these clips and researched trending audios on social media platforms. After each post, the owner and I would assess engagement data on Facebook Business Suite to implement future methods on Instagram and TikTok as well.
